Default Titanium or carbon sleeve exhaust?

About 12 months back i brought a Titanium Yoshi tri oval exhaust for my gsxr6 off ebay for £220 delivered the zorst was nearly new with no marks on it

Ive been watching a exhaust of the same style and make but only in the carbon variety on eBay and its just sold for a whopping £438!!!!!!!!

Did i get a bargain or do carbon sleeved zorsts cost more?

It all depends on who wants what and at what time.

I have carbon on mine and it looks much nicer than titanium

Titanium all the way baby yeah baby yeah!!

Looks cool

Stays cool

And after 3000km on treated roads the salt and ****e had formed a crust ~10mm thick on mine that simply hosed off leaving it looking like new

Oh yeah

Pretty much every time I've seen exhausts for the same model the prices have been stainless, carbon and Ti from cheapest to dearest...

I don't know about materials prices pre manufacturing. Titanium is very easy to work with though. Where as carbon fabric and resin is a pain in the ****.

My exhaust in carbon new is £580, in titanium it's £420.
