Stebel Nautilus - maintenance help - SV650.org

Recently my Stebel Nautilus air horn has been working intermittently.

The relay is fine and the horn is getting power, however it just rattles and wheezes as opposed to sounding like a truck horn.

Any ideas what it could be? At first I thought it could be water ingress, but it's been indoors for a few days and is thoroughly dried out. It mostly just rattles now and occasionally there's a faint 'peep' of the horn or the odd full on blast, but mostly just rattling.

I miss my horn (and too tight to shell out £25 for a new 'un)

My first thought would be water too ....

My second would be the bolt that holds the insides together ... is it tight ??

My third ..... how old it is ... try for an exchange ??

My fourth ..... New one .... but £20 ?? There about £12 on Ebay aren't they ??

It all seems tight.

It's about 9 months old.

£30 in Halfrauds - £22 eBay

3 weeks outside warranty period
