Default Pic of my SV

Hi guys, picked the bike up on Saturday but not gotten round to posting a snap. Will put more on when I get time. Nice and clean, but worried it sounds a little tappy under load. Idle is fine, it is due a service though. Has 4800-ish miles on the clock and is an 08 K7. What do think?

I wouldn't have thought so. The dealer would have said if it was. Had my license since I was 17 in 2001 so need for it.

Does it stop accelerating as much when you get to 7.5-8k rpm?
That would indicate that it was restricted

To be honest I haven't ridden it that hard yet! The engine might be perfectly fine, I just get a sound in my head and find it hard to ignore!

The engines on these bikes are a little noisy, I am sure if you search on the forums you'll see others with the same concerns...the chances are it's nothing

Thanks, puts my mind at rest! Got a fenda extenda, stainless Beowulf rad guard to go on when I get time. Ling's are going to service and MOT it next month free of charge.

That's what earplugs are for.

Fit a race can and then you won't hear the engine noise.
