Do you get Jonathan Green commentating in the UK? He is on Sky so maybe... Rant time

I'm I the only person who thinks this guy is a complete tool? He has a hard-on for Ben Spies every single round and barely mentions any other rider. This is coupled with the fact that he seems to know little to nothing about motorbike racing, instead we get verbal diarrhoea of motorycle words, interjected with "Spies", "Ben Spies" or "Elbows". This is made worse by his over-excitement when he successfully matches the colours of the rider that has just crashed to the picture guide in front of him.

After the break at Nurburgring, I'm going to do a drinking game where I have to drink a shot everytime he mentions Ben Spies' name and I'm guessing I'll be unconcious mid-race 1!

Rant over.... and relax!

No, we don't get him, so, by the sounds of it we are quite lucky

although a few races back the BBC guy (no idea who he was) made the racing sound like snooker.......

I don't watch anything on the BBC if I can help it.

I only watch either Eurosport (the best three teams) or Motors TV (best for the ancillary races)

Yeah I try not to, but only had access to BBC for live, watched it again on Eurosport when I got home though.

Jonathan Green i have to say is NOT a compleate Tool i got to know him through WSBK and he is a really nice gentleman and very funny, he knows his stuff about riders, teams and makes commentating very fun, instad of the general boring stuff.

Ooo that ruffled some feathers! Well, I don't know the chap personally so I can't comment on him being funny or a nice gentleman. However, his commenating is rather annoying to me. If you like it, then good for you; we are all allowed are opinions.

Yes exactly which is why i thought i would be the only person on here to defend the him, not everyone has to like the same people.
