07 sv650 idling high - SV650.org

First off it should be around 14 and 16? Mine is steady at 17 or so. Used to be right at 14. Could the weather be a factor? It's about 32° when I leave in the morning, but I get the same result when I leave work in the afternoon even though it has warmed up some. Bike has 17.5k on it. Have done all tune up minus air filter. Could that be the problem. This bike has the auto idle feature. TPS was done a year ago.

Might idle high if it's cold outside and you're on a cold start.

Also, I'm not sure if the pointy does have an auto idle? It has an auto choke.

Reach down the left hand side on the bike (on a curvy) and you'll find a little adjuster knob thing which controls idle speed
