Default Bluetooth stereo reccomendations

Hi all,
I wondered if anyone had any experience with bluetooth car stereos? I'm guessing someone does!
I need to get bluetooth in my car, a Volvo V70, and looked at halfords range of stereos, specificaly ones that cost about the 130 quid mark. Does anyone know what the sound quality is like when making calls in that price range?
I wont be listening to loud music ( baby on board) but do need good quality phone calls.
Any ideas?
Cheers!
Charley

I have a Parrot thingy linked to a cheapish Sony head unit and it works really well.

I expect you could connect the Parrot to the existing head unit.

I had a parrot ck3000 fitted to my Peugeots existing stereo a few years ago. £99 all in at halfords. It uses the existing speakers and cuts the music for an incoming call. It does the job.

Parrot is not a bad job.

I have an Alpine headunit with bluetooth. I think they were £230 at halfords but I picked up an ex demo for £90. Online I think you can find them for about £160 and the call quality is awesome. Most people don't even realise you're driving.

I have the Sony as well , I stream Music from the Samsung Galaxy S2 onto it with no problems , take calls on it (fitted the optional Mic which improved things) ..... although the calls are taken when pulled over , it just saves faffing about with the phone . I did find that having Wi-Fi switched on caused the streaming of Music to stutter a bit , but you don`t need Wi-Fi in the car so I switch that off and it`s fine
