One and a half GSXR400 GK71Fs for sale.

1986 (single headlight model) complete except for rearchain. Non-runner, gearchange shaft needs replacing. Good tyres front and back,spare rear tyre, used but in good condition. Braided brake lines. Original reg/rec and alternator replaced with new items from Electrex World. Free Flow s/s end can with link pipe. V5 present.

This is the little gixer as it was when it took me all over Europe, two trips to the Pyrenees, the Balkans, and across large swathes of Britain. Cracking little bike and a huge amount of revvy fun to ride.



1987 (twin headlight model) dismantled and incomplete. No forks. Most of the plastics are present but in need of welding/repair. V5 present



Mountain of spare parts, mostly engine.



Some new and never used items, some in original packaging:

· Blue pillion seat.

· OE undertray/rear mudguard.

· Tacho internal.

· Cylinder head. This has come off the shelf atRobinsons Foundry a few years ago and has never been fitted. Retail price ofthis item alone is around £1100!



Also, a s/h GK73a rear hugger. I was going to modify itand fit it to the 71F.



I want the whole lot sold in one go, I’m not splitting or breaking the complete bike (I couldn’t bring myself to do it – it’s hard enough having to sell it). I’m selling because I need the money and the space and much as I want to keep them, particularly the 1986 model, I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m never likely to be able to afford to rebuild them, so I’d rather they went to someone who will.

I am a little surprised you have not had any takers. I so want these, I love the look and idea of the Jap 400's, but I have no garage, though I am not trawling through the classified to see if i can rent a garage.
