Just cleaned my visor again for the third time in two days..
Is there anything I can put on it to try and stop the crub settling on it I'm thinking about something like rainx that you use on car windscreens but I dont know if you can use this on plastic visors... I've got a naughty iridium one and I dont want to spray anything on it that might damage the coating Ideas anybody thanks

Don't really know af anything that will stop the build up of dirt.
![]() I always carry a wet rag with me (tucked behind the screen) so that I can wipe off my visor mid-ride. |

You can buy it in halfords, you wipe it onto car windscreens, it makes rain form into beads, and then the wind pressure blows the water off

Yup... the effects are noticeable for a few months, even if you wash the car. However, you do need to reapply from time to time to get it back to its best.
A little yellow bottle lasted me nearly 2 years - it goes a long way. I also had the pink bottle to put in the washer bottle which helps keep it working, but not necessary.

Yep, the stuff is brilliant on cars. The only thing that used to bring it off was the abrasion caused by the windscreen wipers. I used to use stuff that came in a little pink tube, anything over 40mph and you didn't need the wipers on. Only problem is if your screen is not really clean when you do it, ie all road grease and grime cleaned off it then its bleedin awful with the rainx or similar stuff on it. If only they would make something similar for bike visors
