Default SV sold......

Well I was goign to keep the Sv but I got offered a really good price for it so has been sold today. Pick up a 2004 Honda Hornet tomorrow. 2'000 miles one owner and was £100 less that I solf the SV for. Wil miss the SV but won't miss the aggro it gives my back and knees!

Maybe next year I can get a new SV1000 for the weekend.

Been there. Comfy bike but you'll be looking everywhere for the torque.

As long as I'm not looking for the painkillers I know it will be different but it will be better for commuting. Plus it was half teh cost of the the insurance for the SV with the same insurer. Weird.

Hornet is a cracking bike. I liked mine - a lot. Good riding position. I never found the performance wanting.

I tested it and while different from the Sv the grin factor was still there. I will sorely (ha!) miss my SV though. Brilliant fun and ever so chuckable and that noise! Ah well. We will meet again SV!

Welcome to "The Hornet Massive"

Ace bikes and real good fun. It has the torque of the SV, it's just that it's higher up the rev range

You might want to check out The Hornets Nest Forums - nice peeps (as on here) and a wealth of knowledge
