Default Hmmm tempted

Forgive me fellow sv owners but im tempted to stray away off the sv after only 3 months...

Took a customers zx6, 99 t plate for a quick blat (with his permission) and come back with an ear to ear grin

Was considering getting a zx6 when i was looking for a bike but couldnt find one in my price range.

You can always get last years ZX-6 rather cheaply.. they usualy go for about £5K brand new after they bring out a new model.. which they have just done.... so you could grab yourself a 636 for silly money..

I thought you're licence was restricted, or did I dream it?

Do it paws.

I have not ridden the old model you tried but I have read reports on forums from those that have and they reckon the newer 636 models like mine and valleyboy's onwards feel like 750's from a performance point of view with the handling making the old model feel like a tourer.

£5k will do it as previously mentioned for a new one.

Mint 2 year old models like mine and valleyboy's with a few k on the clock seem to be going for £3500 used on the ninja site.

Insurance could be a problem though. Maybe seat height too as the newer ones ride quite high?

the 636's are insurance group 15.. the A1p looks like the old kwaks and is Carbed, the B1H is if your mental, B2H if your still mental, but like the rear suspension to soak up the odd bump... and the C1H and C2H lost its mentalness... its these you can now get for £5K because the new ZX-6R's are coming out shortly.. though they are now back to 600cc instead of 636...

if I had loads of money, Id get another B1H with very little mileage if possible.... but I am a tad mental.. so the bike fits my needs perfectly!

Nah, they softened it up when they brought out the underseat exhaust ones.

Paws - If you like it and have the chance to buy one, go for it. Are you going to sell your SV?
