Default Hilf! :(

Hi, Me again.

The most recent problem has the following symptoms:
Speedo and Revmeter randomly fluctuating and falling and basically going abit mental,
Random bouts of misfiring, only slight misfiring but noticeable.
Any idea what it could be, I first noticed something weird the other day (It hasn't been rained on) where the revmeter flew up and back down when I switched the engine on, it never usually does this, and then odd moments when the speedo seemed to float around abit.

Any ideas?

Probably going to be expensive

Probably electrical, I reckon... Check battery terminal contacts, and make sure the main fuse is seated right first of all, then it's all the usual tedious electrical troubleshoots.

I have seen this on my bike a couple of times. The worst being just before the reg/rec went.

Check that the battery is connected securely and that your charging circuit is working. If that is not the answer then I would start looking and wires and connectors around the instrument panel, unless of course anyone else can suggest something...

Cheers, will have a gander as soon as I find my damn allen keys!

Any other advice welcomed, I did actually think it was my reg rec, though the first instance of it happening was after I finished doing some wheelies so it could be a loose connection.
