Cool USA Imports

I was wondering if anyone here knows of anybody that will send official Suzuki gear form the US at reasonable postage costs, looking on Suzuki's american website they have a load more accessories at very low prices available to them. Maybe we could find someone and make one huge order to try and reduce postage costs?

It's import tax you need to watch. I know lots of people who have had the items held to ransom until the import duty is paid. Normally ends up costing the same as uk after that.

Best thing to do it to arrange a weekend trip there and smuggle the products into the country!

Other people will know more about this so wait for their replies. Let me know if you go ahead though and it's economical, there are some things i need.

Damh! Beaten to it! : )

In my opinion, there is only one reason to shop in the US, which is "I cannot get this item in this country"

Everything looks cheap, but when you add tax etc it is usually a break even situation.

So if its an oem Bellypan that is 75% of the uk price - well it will cost the same once you get it here.

If its a jacket by a company without a UK supplier that you REALLY want, get it, just remember to factor in an extra 25% to the price.

25% is a rough figure, and I think about the most extra, so if you allow for that you will only get good surprises.
