Default Are these progressives?

Just seen these on ebay. It says standard, but aren't they some type of progressive spring?

The standard springs are slightly progressive. The important thing is to get springs that suit your weight, not whether they are progressive or linear.

Thanks Jambo, I've seen a pic of hyperpros now and they are totally different. I am undecided about whether to go progressive or linear, but people seem to think that progressives are a better compromise if you are not going for emulators, which I am not.

One more thing, are progressives one size fits all?

Hyperpro only do one "rate" of progressive spring, you can get them from Hein Gerricke or from Hyperpro themselves. Other companies like Hagon will give you a linier spring suited to your weight. Which is better is debatable for pages and pages and pages. I doubt you'll care either way as long as the range of weights the spring suits are roughly right for you.

Hope this helps!

Hi mate, gather u spoke to my good lady earlier lol. Glad you got it sorted out. By the way if anybody still wants em they have just over 2 days to run and still at £1.99!!!

Anyway, they are specific to bike. I think even the curvey and pointy ones differ slightly (correct me if im wrong.) I got my hyperpros from Hein Gericke.

The different years of curvy have different ones too, but that's often only true if they're providing a sping and spacer as Hagon do (The K2 had preload adjusters maning a shorter spacer was needed). Order the correct one for your bike & year regardless
