Oxford optimiser/maximiser clips
Hi
Yet another dead battery thanks to flimsy crocodile clips jumping off Does anyone know the name for the sort of clips they use on the 'clip in' Oxford battery charger wire ? They charge over £10 for the wire, but I have lengths of wire and I have battery terminal rings... I just don't have the block connector Thanks!

try this thread, will either be a Tamiya (TM) or SAE you can get 'do-it-yourself' Tamiya connectors from fleabay or amazon (these are the light duty nylon plugs with two shrouded pins) nobody seems to know where you can get the SAE plug as a separate item (heavy duty 15amp with one shrouded and one un-shrouded pin)

Re: Oxford optimiser/maximiser clips
there is a lot of 'battery tender' leads and stuff around, still uses same TM or SAE plugs as they are pretty much industry standard

I've already fitted a correct fused SAE extension to my SV650 for my heated gear and will convert my Oxford Optimizer to them for ease so I can just plug it in when needed |

Re: Oxford optimiser/maximiser clips
Can't find the TM 74s anywhere (well,eBay) but didn't like the idea of it being on my bike without a rubber weather proof cap anyway ... So I think the best idea is just to wire it into the cig socket
