Akrapovic Full System On eBay - SV650.org

theres another full Akrapovic system on eBay this week, but having looked and looked at the photo of the system, the heat marks the carbon hanging bracket has left on the silencer look in the complete wrong place. heres is link to the particular system in question

it seems to me that the marks just arent close enough to the sticker. my SV already has a race can on it and the hanging bracket is much closer to the centre of the silencer!

any thoughts anyone?

If I've understood what you've said, then yeah, the mark is quite far back, but some cans do hang a very long way back like that.

does anyone actually have an Akrapovic system on theirs that can confirm whether the hanger is in the right place or not?

Just done a visual check on mine and the strap is definitely nearer to the middle of the can.

Having said that the can on Ebay may not have been attached to the footpegs but rather a different hanger, therefore explaining the different position of the strap, just a thought.
