Default Helmet Standards

I've signed up for the superbike school and one thing that they do before letting you out on track is check all your gear. My helmet is from the UK, rather than Australia and so does bear any of their safety standard stickers. I enquired about this and they said:

Helmets must carry one of the following approval labels,
a) Europe ECE 22 – 04, ECE 22 - 05
b) Great Britain BS 6658 Grade A & B (All disciplines)
c) USA DOT Federal Standard No 218 / SNELL M95, M2000, M2005
d) Japan JIS T 8133:2000, or Australia Standards Association of Australia AS1698

However, I have just scoured my helmet and can't find a label saying BS 6658. I have and ACU sticker and an E3 sticker. The helmet is an AGV Ti-tech. Can anyone tell me what the deal is? Harking back to my CBT, I remember the instructor saying something about the E3 sticker but can't can't remember what! Plus, since it doesn't explicitly say "BS 6658" on it, I may need t go back to CSS with further info

Thanks
Luke

From memory I though that the BS standards are quite old. I remember buying a helmet many many moons ago that had a BS kite mark sticker on it, but I think that that has been superseded by the EC regs.

Have a look inside the helmet for a white label with the E number on it. That's what it's like on Shoei helmets, Arai (I think) have it stamped inside somwhere.

I should think the Ti-Tech would be EC 22.05 because it is sold by many reputable dealers in the UK.

I've got an Air Tech, the lesser model to yours, and thats EC 22.05.
