03/05 sv1000

Hi there guys and gals, been a while. Sold both my sv650's a couple of years ago now, since then bought a bandit 1250 (fantastic bike btw) and a cbr1000rr, hate the cbr, love the bandit but fancy a change so am after another sv this time of the thousand cc variety.

Any hoo Iv been reading about the differences with the 05 having a lower subframe, larger throttle bodies and lighter fly wheel. Are these 'improvements' worth it, do they make a lot of difference? Main thing would be the sub frame with it being lower is it more comfortable for a pillion as Im usually karting the girlfriend around with me and we like to go a lot of places. Any thoughts people?
