Default Newbie from Ireland.

Hi all,

I Just bought a 2004 SV650s this weekend so decided to register here to contribute and hopefully get advice on bits and pieces too.

The bike I bought is pretty standard apart from an aftermarket exhaust can and some security extras.

The plan is to tidy up a few bits and pieces, maybe fit a rear seat cowl and tail tidy and that'll be about it.

There are one or two plastic pieces that need replacing and there's surface rust on the triple clamp so these have priority before mods.

Talk soon,
Joe.

LOL Give me a chance lads. I collected it Saturday morning and haven't seen it since as I'm away with work. This was taken ten minutes after I got it home. I'll make a promise to polish the pipe Sunday when I get home.

What's best to bring it up nice and shiny? I won't be changing the can as it sounds so nice but don't mind spending a few hours polishing it!

Is there any other type of day in Ireland in early February?

Do you plan on having a pillion?

When you get your seat cowl buy a exhaust hanger & get rid of those pegs.

Around the front of the fairing, I've fitted a 2mm thick tin sheet, the only thing that can get hit by dirt is the tip of the downpipe. And that hardly get hit due to my fenda extenda, Engine is pretty much spotless after doing this.
