Default newbie SV owner / Rider

Hey all...

Are there any SV owners in the Tyldesley Area (Near Leigh, Atherton, Bolton). Looking to maybe join in on some rideouts sometime. I'm a new rider with about 900 miles on my k5 SV so maybe no 300 mile marathons to start with or speed demons on supersports.

I'm not far away - just down the East Lancs.

Welcome.

Hiya and Welcome - I'm from Skelmersdale for my sins

and the reason we are back early from the rideout is Steve has been cycling to work a lot this week and is aching everywhere - plus i wanted to see my mate before she went back down south. Left them all at Devils Bridge about 1pmish

I'll keep a check out on here then for some ride-outs. My mate has let me down big style. He kept pushing for me to learn to ride and said when I got a bike we'd be out every weekend. Since I got the bike I hardly ever see him and when I go round he is more interested in the BBQ than the bike The fact he has a 1 year old daughter may have changed things, he was always on the bike in the past.

I don't mind riding on my own but I think a group is better and safer when you venture further a field from the local area.

Blipping up the east lancs and down glazbrook lane gets a bit boring after a while
