Any secondary school maths teachers on here?

I need to know what text books you use for teaching the kids at school if possible and where I might be able to buy one of them from.

I don't teach maths but I do know secondary school's. The textbook they use will vary depending on the exam board they're signed up to do the GCSE with. Find that out (it will be Edexcel, AQA or OCR) then you may be able to find out from the board's website. Go to the subject and level specific area of the site.
Alternatively, work out which Key Stage your child is at and go to a reputable bookshop and get a textbook aimed at that stage. In secondary school they will be in Key Stage 3 in Years 7,8 and possibly 9, and Key Stage 4 (GCSE stage)from possibly end of Year 9 through to Year 11 (this might depend on whether they are taking the GCSE in Year 10 or 11). A Level is Key Stage 5 and I'm guessing your child will be above parental help at this level!

Perfect thanks for this...it is for my wife who is currently learning to be a maths teacher. I think she is after a KS3 or 4 book so will take a look now.
