Is it possible to save audio from the web to your pc? Say music from youtube or other websites that have audio?

Try Audacity, download free and tell the soundcard to record from itself in the settings. You can then use it to record soundtracks from DVD's and also cd music. Although I wouldn't condone such a thing of course

Audacity is a great free program. I've had it on my pc for years. Great for editing mp3s into ring tones.
