Cold fingers ? I have the solution.
Any of you out there suffer the same as I do each year with cold fingers?
I have the perfect solution. In six weeks little finger on the right will be no more. For those that don't know, that is as much as I can straighten the finger. This is what happens when you snap a tendon and do nothing about it for a couple of years. It now get's in the way of every day activities so much it has to go. So that's one less finger that is going to suffer from the cold this year. RESULT. |

So, no more five-knuckle shuffle then? Well, not right-handed anyway.

Re: Cold fingers ? I have the solution.
Concerned ? Dunno. If you thought you would be able to get full movement back with the aid of operations, then yes, be concerned. They told me the best they could do was partially straighten in. As in have it pointing out permanently. This I feel would be a worse scenario than it's current position. So only other option is amputation. It's going to be taken back to the 2nd joint. So I'll have a little stump.

Hard core Mr Ape...
Didn't a racer do this same thing recently, Bayliss or Corser maybe? They had a broken little finger that would have needed a few ops and not allowed them to race, so they opted to have it lopped off? |
