Skinny ****
It sucks having a skinny ar$e. Yesterday I did just over 100 miles and it feels like someone's been kicking me up the backside with a steel toe capped boot. My poor tail bone.
Can somebody with a fat ar$e lend me some padding please?

Re: Skinny ****
You have two choices for the solution to your problem
A: the cheapest option...eat more pies B: Get a shock that works, but thats expensive. I have to say, I have tried both of these methods, being of the skinny variety, and I can vouch that A is more fun....I don't like spending money on things I can't eat Must be in the genes....German Yorkshire mixes are both tight, and lovers of pies and cakes and bratwurst and pies....mmmmmm must look in the fridge now BYEEEEEE!

Re: Skinny ****
Dizzy, I've tried eating more pies, but it doesn't seem work. I can't get fat. I once tried a "Simon must always be full" strategy where I would gorge on vast quantities of carbs and fat and burgers and sugar (and of course pies) whenever I felt even slightly hungry. I didn't put on any weight, I just spent a fortune on food.
Nah, my backside is always destined to be without cushion. So I may have to upgrade the spring, or wear 10 pairs of pants.

^^^ thats a good start!
OEM curvy gel seat sometimes appear on ebay or here, used to be about 40 quid second hand Occasionally you might find a Corbin, for similar, but they are rare....I has one, and no ya cannae have it Or send your seat to Tony Archer, and have him put a gel insert in it, around 60 quid iirc

Re: Skinny ****
Trust you girls to make sensible suggestions! I was expecting some bum related mocking!
I never thought about adding a gel insert though. Can't be too hard right? Peel back the seat fabric, stick some discarded PIP implants in and then glue the fabric back in place. Could be worth a go using a second hand seat off ebay .... @Geodude. I can't even get the belly mate. I obviously shouldn't winge but I tell ya, riding home late last night when the temp had finally dropped, I wished I had a bit of insulation on my bones!

Re: Skinny ****
I took a pillow with me when I rode to France, sat on that whilst riding, slept on it at night. Either that, or butt clenches.

Re: Skinny ****
True that matey. Went out again today with a hoody on under my jacket, stood out in the sun, thought it felt nice and warm, went back in and dumped the hoody, got on the bike, froze me skinny ar*e off!
