Women & accents
Why is it that some accents make women seem more attractive where, other accents make you tell them you're gay or you've just got out of prison?
Stopping at shrigley hall near macclesfield, there's a bird from warrington working on the bar. It's not like the "do you want a flake in that bodingtons?" type accent, more like softly spoken diana vickers... And girls from Dublin sound nice when they're often quite frightening. Sothern girls (aka posh) always do the trick as well. Contrast that lot with a "Barnsley lass" or a gyal from east London, maybe even a lady from deepest, darkest Dudley in the midlands.. So is it just me? (prolly)

Re: Women & accents
I've got a mixed type of accent myself, never had any comments about it though.
I was born and grew up in South Africa but had an English Mummy and never quite had a South African accent but couldn't pass for being English either. If I could choose an accent it would definately be French, I think that is such a sexy language. |
