Default Should toes bend up?

It's time for a completely random question!

I was just clipping my toe nails and noticed one of the three joints bends up, but won't bend down. The first two joints nearest my foot go down, but the one nearest my toenail bends up. Is that normal?

It's not normal, you're obviously not human.......

They should all bend both ways. Old people get arthritis and lose some flexibility. With nearly 4k posts on her you are either ancient or you spend far to much time sitting on a computer and not exercising.......

I can move my toes all up at once or all down at once. Whereas other people seem to be able to move them independently, stretch them out, scrunch them up. I think I'm normal and they are weird.
