Default Straightening bars?

Can I straighten a Heli bar or is this a big no-no.

Got some with my new crash damaged SV but one was bent in the crash, wanna know if straightening it will weaken it at all.

Regards
Phil

I'd replace them with a set of straight stock clip-ons, if I had some sitting round my garage doing nothing. Or, if I had two spare pairs of clip-ons, like some people have lying around their garage, I'd sell one set on ebay and fund a new Helibar with the proceeds.

I'm pretty sure you can buy a single bar. Have you thought about dropping it in to a local engineering shop to see if they can repair it or make a new bar for it?

Nope, never thought of that and as it happens my dad's business partners also own an engineering company! Will have a word with them. Cheers.
