Default Not charghing over 5000 revs

Hi hope someone can help. My bike sv 650s gen 1 seems to stop charging over 3/5000 rpm. Seems to be charging at idle. Only seems to do this with headlights on when headlights are off charging fine throughout rev range
Thanx in advance
Glyn

Do you have exact voltages to tell us for all of those conditions Glyn?

Reg rec breaking down under high rpm conditions I would guess.

Check AC voltages from stator just to be safe

looks fine to me. might want to inspect your headlight lamp connectors for furring but otherwise your voltages look fine.

How did you come to your initial conclusion without a multimeter?
