Default Box Hill to Camber rideout - 20th November

It seems as if this is one of the threads that got 'lost' during the recent hardware problems.

I assume that it is still on. Can a summary post be added to bring everyone up to date?

Thanks

Ian

Can I just ask a question?

Why Camber? Theres nothing there !

Why not carry on around the coast a little bit, and stop for food (Whale & Chips, huge meals at reasonable prices) at The Pilot, in Dungeness, Kent?

Follows almost the same route as you had planned start off from Boxhill, take a nice leisurely ride down the A24, across some of the finest countryside on the A272, down towards Rye and across the Romney Marsh "twisties" to Dungeness.

Only a suggestion.

I would agree. I know The Pilot. The food used to be good, haven't been there for a few years.

The route was 'decided' on one of the previous 'lost' threads, so I was just asking whether it was still on.

If we do decide to go onto The Pilot, we had best check that they are open in the middle of November and can cope with 'hundreds', well half a dozen bikes!!!

I asked the question, ' why Camber'? All Ican rememeber of camber is aBl***Y big sand dune and a run down holiday camp but that was a few years ago. Mind you Dundeness is a good 15 -20 mins further on and the days are getting shorter.
