Question Police Persuit cars... How fast?

I always hear people say they are fast. But then ive also heard people say a 1.6L Corsa is fast. So what are the performance stats on the police chase cars? I cant seem to find anything...

I was reading that the police are not allowed to chase motorbikes anymore, is this true? Not wanting to try it out but I can see why they wouldn't be allowed to chase a motorbike.

No, in Yorkshire they send the guy out on the Viffer to chase them, or if his mood takes him, the Busa.

I've gone past one at 90 and had him on my tail within what felt like 60 seconds! Big powerful volvo T5s. If you drive through the midlands they have impreza wrxs

Midlands/notts were the force that had impreza's, although they dont any more, Just T5's again.

The did without bikes for a while as well when the safety of the Pan's were questioned but they now have pan euro again including some unmarked ones.

But then the vectra has to go around corners, which they cant.....so you could use a 125 and get away......not that I would condone those actions.
