Default G 650 X

I saw one in the flesh yesterday and I must say I'm rather taken by it, even to the point that I would like a test ride on one.

The G650X is nice, that's the G650X country, which IMO is not The moto version might suit sir better?

Nothing wrong with it as a commuter / city type machine - not much good for anything else though

I quite like it as well. I had a sit on one in the dealers, and left with all the brochures. It weighs bugger all.
The Xchallenge proper enduro looks the best IMO. But the Xcountry dual purpose seems like the sensible choice.
Other plus points : 6000 mile service interval which is £100 from the dealer , and the warranty is still valid even if it's taken off road.

I thought it was really heavy for an 'off roader'.

Not too bad for a heavyweight rally style enduro, the big singles are all a bit weighty.

isn't the xt660 more powerful and the same weight? It's got a rotax engine so at least itll be bulletproof. I'd rather have a drz400 & loads of ££ for fuel.

One of the magazines has one on long term test if you're serious about it.

I've had a look at the Moto version on the BMW site and it is rather nice, even asked a for a test ride.
