I think that we need a campaign to bring back this popular mediaeval street name, which was subject to prudish Victorian censorship.

Most of these are street names. In fact I went past Fanny Hands Lane once but didn't have a camera with me at the time.

The west side of South Woodham Ferrers, Essex (where I used to live) is based on Lord of the Rings...
