Remember reading about that in a mag, it was stoners 07 bike and he was about 4 secs of race pace, with abit of practice who knows what he could do.

Do you think he'll do anything about it? I mean take it forward and give it a go for a season?

I would say there's no way though he would compete though. Very little to gain, and a whole lot to lose.

4 seconds off the pace is miles! its the last half a second thats the hardest.

i was watching that and trying to figure out why he looked so relaxed on the bike

then i figured that hes not jumping around on it and moving about on the seat much. makes the ride look so smooth!

Well duuhhh.

The impressive part of this is that he has no experience of such a machine and nothing to prove. He's not going to go hell for leather, he's not trying to qualify on pole, he's not trying to earn a ride for next season, he's just out there riding round, keeping rubber side down first and foremost and enjoying the machine. And just 4 seconds off, and that's assuming the bike is at race/quali tune. I'm not saying he'd be as quick as a pro GP rider, no chance, they're at the limit. But I don't doubt for a second that, if he needed to, he could go significantly quicker.

He's smooth, I'll give him that.
