guy at work had one, the R one. We kept threatening to pinch his front forks!!! he sold it not too long ago cause his insurance was tooooooooooooooo much. Aparently the swingarm fits rather nicely in the Raptor too. Quite a few been on ebay going cheap

A mate of mine has one, he loves it

Apparently goes like stink and handles very well, says it quite often starts to lift the front out of corners its got that much grunt.

Won't let me have a go on it though

I'd love one but the time is not right. I'd go for a post 2004 model though as lot of folk were crying out about reliability (mainly electrical) on the earlier ones when I was looking (later ones have twin exhausts). Parts supply and dealer back up problems are now sorted.

Rear master cylinder is in a daft place, tends to overheat the fluid and make it very spongy.

Synthetic fluid still boils, fresh fluid still boils, aluminium foil round the m/c gives you an extra 30 minutes of use. (guess who was onto desperate measures...)
