I doubt it will be much good as the certificate will have the other bikes reg on, so no insurance company will accept it as proof it is fitted to your bike?

Thats the problem I had on a cbr400rr anyway.

Okay you can buy a pointy sv (da injected one like mine) then all you have to do is plug in it this ecu which makes it 33bhp, its a straight swap just a multi pin conector its under you seat next the battery. If you need this call your local suzuki dealer see if they will test it and give a certifate of fitment. Doing it this way round also means, after your 2 years all you have to do is swap over the ecu whcih you will alreay have. The injected bikes are less hassle to restrict as well.

You don't need a certificate.

The whole certificate thing was dreamed up F1 International to get people to buy their restrictor kits. It was a blatant rip-off by an unscrupulous supplier.

If you have dyno proof of restriction that's all your insurance company needs. I know of a lots of people whose restricted bikes don't have a certificate, and not one of them had any problems with insuring them.

It's ironic that insurance company's don't actually ask for the certificate or any proof that it has been restricted. I know my didn't and I'm with Suzuki's official insurers.
