Default Be careful please

To all of you who are in the blues and twos club, and those going out to a club, just take care tonight and come home safely.
Some stories in the news are not so good, a lucky escape so take care and see the new year in in style and safety.
Pete.

PS, I really wish I was working, not sitting at home with an ice cold Becks leaning against me as I sit on the comfy sofa!

Pete

That is just down the road from me (About 1/2 a mile) Michelle was working A&E this morning in Chorley when they brought in the pistol whipped guy. She said his main concern was exactly what he was going to tell his wife.

It caused a few problems as the hospital inn is on the crossing of the preston-blackburn line and the road from hougton down to bamber bridge.

We were talking about it and it is a familiar story of incompetent local crooks. It is a stupid location to hit, no real fast roads away. And why do it on New Years Eve. The restaurant would be full tonight and the safe bulging tomorrow morning.

Tim,

We'd already Googled you (ooo-err) to see how close you were to it all. Glad to hear you're not involved and are all safe.

Best wishes for the New Year, mate, to you and yours.

Yeah I worked yesterday afternoon/night wasn't too bad though I was busy! I'm glad I didnt have to work the night, it really doesn't appeal to me being stuck in the west end working!

Yes lets hope for a year, where we don't lose anyone in the force, this one has been tragic for some of the people out there.
