finally.........

......... got out on the SV i bought before xmas.
i love it - its going to take a bit of gettting used to. its very different to ride that the Honda Bros i traded in for it, but i know i will get there soon.

shame it rained when i was out - the roads got very skiddy.

cant wait to get out on it again now

Riding in the rain will make a better rider out of you

Surprisingly, the best ride I've had was in the wet with my boss, tearing through country lanes..
I haven't ridden on a warm road yet (next summer is scheduled for 2218 I heard) but I can have fun in any weather

Out of curiousity, why did you wait until now to ride it?

1st needed new battery.

2nd because the bike is in a shed which is 6" above the ground, i might be able to get the bike out but would not be able to get it back in again. a customer of mine made me a great ramp to get in/out, which i took delivery of last week.

3rd the bike is in such good condition for a '99 i do not want to ruin it, so even if i had been able to get the bike out, i probably would have kept it tucked up warm & dry because of the poor weather recently

i am hopefully out on it on friday
