it looks like i need so sort of plate to convert it as there is not enough clearacne between the faring and the bobbin

Surely there were instructions with the bungs or at least torque settings.

If not I'd take them back to the supplier.

R&G work with lower fairings- in my opinion they're too expensive and a bit unreliable, but not everyone would agree. Personally I'd say get GSG Mokos or Motosliders, which are both stronger and very reliable, and cut the fairings to suit- it looks fine if done right, arguably neater than the big R&G brackets.

go on ebay and look at this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SV650...spagenameZWD2V

if the link don't work type in sv650 frame sliders and look for the international seller called sv-racing-parts. Its one of the official dealers for motosliders. I've got one set on my black bike which i got off luckypants. But i found this last night and he's emailed me straight away, so I can get a second set for the other bike. You'll be hard pushed to find anyone that can sell you motosliders int UK, but, IMHO and others they are the best on the market. And at £68 for both the engine sliders, swingarm bobbins and shipping, that is brilliant.
i think Mautlin bought some notso long back, but he got em from motosliders direct, but i culdn't get in touch withe them
http://www.motosliders.com/
the ebay seller is listed on here
