I get about 135-140 from fill-up to when the light comes on.

I have got a hell of a lot more when driving economically, but that just no fun.

My mileage is solely commuting 125 ish per week a mixture of A2 50-70 and then weaving in and out of London traffic and revving to let ****s know I'm there.

About the same

120 - 130 = Mixture of commuting and spirited riding.

under 100 = a day of spirited riding

180 (before I bottled it) = Trip from the south to north at 70mph on the motorway

Judging by the figures given on here, there must be something wrong with my bike readings/tachometer, as I get 100 in Summer and about 70-80 in winter (now).
I only commute a 20-mile journey daily, and top up every four days???

has it been serviced recently? especially the air filter and plugs.

Tyre pressures ok? Idle speed somewhere around 1300 rpm?

That's the problem, my bike has never leaked. I thought it was because of the weather that the fuelling got worst. I've just changed the plugs, and funnily enough, i'm changing the air filter this weekend. Tyres are fairly new, and idles at 1500 rpm (because it kept cutting out).

aha, why was it cutting out I wonder. It should idle perfectly at around 1300rpm. If it doesnt you may need it adjusting at a dealer or good bike mechanic. Poor idling can be the symptom of incorrect fuelling, blocked injectors or supply pipes etc.

My bike is set to idle at 1500 rpm aswell; I had similar issues of the bike cutting out when cold in the winter. Might turn it down when it gets warmer, but its been fine like that.

Should be getting over 100 miles to the tank Mr Chin...just how hard are you riding it Does need inspecting though, could be carb synchronisation?

Matt
