Hello all, i'm a brand spanking new rider who passed DAS last summer and have been patiently waiting to buy my first ever bike. Compared to a lot of the machines i've see browsing on here its a bit on the shabby side....but it's a start and i'm pretty pleased with it.
To do list includes getting it de-restricted (may do my-self if it doesn't look too tricky), ditching the annodised blue indicators and bar-ends and generally getting well aquainted with my new toy. First impressions are pretty good, bike has 14k on the clock - FSH and all old documents which is always good. Anyway - hello all, and here are a few photos of my new SV. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by farquare; 13-04-08 at 09:25 PM. |

Welcome to the site, get it derestricted ASAP, and double that grin factor.
Enjoy your new red and blue ride. |

Greetings, stick your location in your profile and get yourself down your local meet, I'm sure someone there will be able to give you some useful advice.
Cheers Mark.

Any thoughts on de-restricting the bike, from the paperwork it looks like a restrictor between the carbs and the inlet which would involve removing the carbs. I'm sure i could fiddle about and get it right but with the place that fitted it just a few miles away it might be worth getting them to do it for me if there is anything else that need done at the same time.
