took disc lock off bike to come home from work last night, rather than faff about putting it under the seat I just stuffed it into my tail pack bag thingy that was on at the time. Anyhoo, got home, parked bike up outside house and left it with the steering lock on. (thought no point putting disc lock on as I'll be putting into the garage in a bit) came back out 5-10 mins later to see the bag open. Odd methinks, and lo and behold, on further inspection the disc lock had been swiped! Now the lock was the only thing in the bag to nick, but even so - its absolutley useless to whoever that nicked it without the keys! Now thats just spiteful surely!

means you cant lock it, so makes it easier to steal bike
they didnt know it would be garaged before they got back with the transit......

How weird.
I would've thought the whole bag would've gone. I'd replace that ASAP before the bike goes a-wandering, unless you've got another method to hand. |

I think I've got a spare one kicking around the house - I'll look for it tonight. In the meantime tho I'm reverting to the old padlock and chain.
Its usually pretty secure like. Chained to a ground anchor in the garage, and I can see it from my window when its parked up at work. Plus our office car park has CCTV. |

Someone once stole my breath guard. The one I have breathing into for two years.
I hope they get my diseases and die! |

once had a pair of trainers nicked from my doorstep where I left them to air out. At the time I had verucas on my feet, and tended not to wear socks...
served them right! |

I'd buy a bike to lock to your disc lock to prevent theft :P

be very careful, friend of mine had his steering lock broken and the next day someone stole his bike from the same place, could be preping your bike to steal it.
