Default Broken clutch... help needed!

Hi guys,

Droped it doen a gear when going round a corner the other day and this happened... I can only ride it in 1st!
I showed the guy in the garage the picture and he said that they are "pivet joints" and should pop off, bring it down and he will fix it. They ain't budging!!!

Any help would be great... I think I will be investing in breakdown cover in the future! lol

No they don't pop off. Unbolt the arm on the gearbox side.

What's that got to do with your clutch?

I would even go as far as suggesting getting a proper connecting rod rather than using threaded bar...

Removing footpeg bracket might help you screw it back in. That's not standard connecting rod mind...

Looks like it's ragged the thread out though. Might need a helicoil putting in the end or a tap running down it if you're lucky.

i'm pretty sure a new connecting rod a lever dont cost too much, might be worth it, at least then you know it wont happen again and leave you stranded!
