Hi all.... what rear shock absorbers fit the 2000 SV650 unfaired? I've heard ZX10R will fit but what year? Any other bikes' shocks gonna fit?

buy a Hagon...255 quid, no mess, no cutting of bits on your bike to put it in...take old one out, throw it away, put hagon in, simple.....just they is a tad expensive if your skint.

I've looked at a few new ones, but even with my dealer discount its a bit pricey. Was looking at replacing shock and adding a Hyperpro spring/combi kit. Thanks though.

ZX10R, ZX6R, SRAD600 or SRAD750.
I know of a guy with a ZX6R B1H shock for sale for 30 quid

Do those you've listed just fit straight onto the standard shock linkages or do they need to be from same bike as shock?
How much for the shock posted to Newcastle upon tyne? Don't suppose you know what condition its in? Mileage etc? Thanks for your help. |

Will I need to replace anything else if i change the shock? E.g. nuts, bolts etc?

Just a nut and bolt for the bottom of the shock AFAIK
A couple of quid from kwak dealers. Reuse stock SV rising rate linkage and top mounts. Easy conversion. PM'd

But they say the Kwak shocks get tired pretty quick, is the Gixxer 750 shock the better option?
Is the Hagon shock better than GSXR's? How much? |

Problem with SRAD is they're getting on a bit now, so finding a good one is pretty hard.
The kwaks aren't the best but they are way ahead of stock SV. GSXR is more adjustable than hagon, not done a direct comparison, hagon is about 5x the price.
