Im taking the plunge and fitting my can later on today, read most of the tips (i think) any last minute ones?? Fitting a tail tidy too.

Well i'v fitted it, had a little trouble cus i think i'v been sold the wrong link pipe as iv had to do away with pillion footrests, ah well. Sounds and looks the nuts now though!!! Possibly even too loud, might get stopped, got the baffles but i like the sound too much to put them in!

I have a blue flame as well. The high level link pipe they give you is not the best as you have the loose the rear pegs. They do sell a bolt kit that lets you mount the pegs a little forther from the frame. I can post a pic if that helps.

Did you specifically ask for the high level link pipe.
I had a titanium one of these on my SV with the low level link pipe, absolutely loved it. One thing I always did was leave the main baffle in the top outlet, it doesnt quiten down the sound at all really, but changes the tone and gives a much sharper crisper bark. I also think it performed better with the baffle in the top hole and baffle out the bottom hole. They are really loud though and give a really nice sound I think when compared to some other cans.

Just put the top baffle in. Thats what I have done on my pair on the Falco and its still loud.
They do sound the nuts though ![]() |

Top in doesnt make any difference to sound really, just runs better
