Default My method on chilling beer

Did this last night, the key ingredient- Dry ice.

The water you can see in the sink was damn cold. You couldn't really put your hand in it for more than a few seconds.

Also forgive the horrendous decorating of my kitchen.

o.O EXTREME! :P Nice method especially with the added 'haunted forest' effect.

maybe! But the dry ice was free. My mate works in a lab and 'liberated' it.

Saw that on Mythbusters!

The best they could come up with was a CO2 fire extinguisher!

Salt, ice and water combo worked well too.

I used to love playing with Dry Ice in my lab... Nothing quite like a cold burn to get your attention back to the job.

My favourite trick was the dry ice in the beaker of water with Universal indicator. The kids can see how sublimation of CO2 can make carbonic acid, then you just add Sodium Hydroxide to make it alkaline again and they can watch it all over. Well until the CO2 is all gone anyway.

I love science, I am such a nerd and I miss my lab...
