Default Crashed Bike, Assesing damage

Last week I binned my SV650s (2000).
Luckily I haven't done any major damage to myself just bruises etc.
However the whole left side of the bike has took a battering. Mirrors, indicators, gear lever and fairings completley wrecked.
My main concern is the choke lever has snapped, the bike won't start and the handlebars pull too much over to the left.
I'm trying to avoid going through the insurance. Just wondered if it's going to be fixable or am I going to have to just bite the bullet.
I know there's not much to go on but any help/advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

Best thing is to strip it down and make a list of whats damaged -ebay is your friend-let me know what stuff you need and i might be able to help source some.

+ 1

SV650 parts are usually easy to get hold of cheaply secondhand (some new too). As said above Ebay is your friend and so are the people on here.
