Default rear tyre

need to be on the look out for a new tyre soon, as i am in the middle of moving house, and have added about 20 miles to me day trip to work. most of it is motorway miles

so any one recommend a good hard wearing tyre thats not going to be no good in 3k miles

Avon Storms. i think they are ace, and so do many for the SV. Theres a whole bunch of folk that could recommend them. Good for commute, and fun. Warm up quick in the cold and stick like glue in the rain

Problem is tyres are a personal preference and what suits some doesn't suit others.

very true, but whilst stood in the meet up car park on the Ecosse rideout, it was apparent how good and popular they are, Luckypants went down the line of bikes and it was
''storms, storms, storms, storms, storms.....do you think we like storms then?...even the busa has em on''

on enquiring about them on combatfreds busa, he said they were really bad on it.
So yes very personal preference

I think Michelin win the mileage war.

I personally don't like Michelin, but the mileage numbers are very impressive!

I put Dunlop roadsmarts on mine 1500 miles ago, far far better than the original dunlop on the bike. Cant comment on wear though because its the first road smart i ve had. My brother went for the Continental Road Attack on his, also seems like a good choice. A few quid cheaper too.
