SV650.org - SV650 & Gladius 650 Forum

Riders for Health Auction Hi, I'm Mike Burns, ride a 650S K2 and I have been a member of the SV650.org (nick MBUK) for a short time. Myself and a friend of mine have planned a sponsored european ride in June next year. Visiting 10 countries in 10 days. We are riding in aid of "Riders for Health" (www.riders.org) and are currently approaching corporate sponsors and planning, before making a fundraising push next year, nearer to the event. Please help support this cause by bidding on the items show on this board.

Background
2bikes.org are two bikers from South Wales that are currently raising money in aid of Riders for Health. The main part of this is a sponsored motorcycle tour of Europe visiting 10 countries in 10 days. Details can be found at www.2bikes.org
SV650.org member Mike Burns (aka MBUK) is one of the riders and has managed to secure a number of donated items for a fundraising auction.
All money raised from the auction will go to “Riders for Health” Charity Registration No 1054565

Bidding
You must be a registered SV650.org member to bid on items. (It's easy to register if you are not already a member)

In order to place a bid, reply to the thread for the item you want stating your bid value. You must also provide your name and email address, either in your reply or by email to mike@2bikes.org

By bidding, you are stating that you are ready and willing to purchase that item for your bid amount, plus any shipping charges disclosed in the listing. If you are outbid, or your bid does not meet the seller's reserve price, you are under no obligation to buy. But in all other cases, you are entering a contract to buy the item, and to deliver payment within the time period specified. Bids are final and non-retractable.

Something to offer?
If you would like to donate an item for the auction, please contact Mike Burns by email to mike@2bikes.org

What to do after the Auction
The auction closes at 18:00 on Sunday 14th September 2008.
Mike will send notifications to both the high bidder and the seller after the end of the auction.

Payment must be made by Friday 26th September 2008. If payment has not been received by this date and other bidders have exceeded the reserve price set the next highest bidder will be contacted.
Both the buyer and seller will be advised once payment has cleared and are expected to contact each other, within 3 days after this notification.
