Default Near Miss This Morning:

Going to work this morning on country roads. White van parked at side of road, goes to overtake him, starts to move, put main beam on. He then moves across to other side of road pushing me into kerb. Luckily there was a dropped kerb. So road up it onto path, stopped. Had a word with him, but no sensible response. Really shock me up.

Agh! Did you just get sworn at? Do they not realise how easy it is to die? I'd like to educate the tart. (with a book obviously, and not prolonged torture followed by death, which would be way over the top)

That's genuinely ridiculous, anyone who does that deserves to be shot; seriously, if I ran somebody off the road then sat back and thought about it later, I can't imagine my feelings being anything other than shock and hatred at myself for being such a ****.

Or gloves with big knuckle guards on them. It really is surprising how easily a wing mirror comes off.

Mistakes happen but to not be apologetic after nearly killing someone is a disgrace

I like your second idea.

If it were me, I'd of made a mental note of the registration, and called the police before trying to move again. Dangerous driving that is. White van men generally like to keep their licence, as it means someone keeps putting money in their bank account.
