Here's some pictures of my new toy glistening in the sunshine, a 2006 plate Triumph Speed Four.
Needs a bit of "personalising" I feel, but I need to get saving first, however, one of the top things on the list is a hugger to protect the shock. I love it, and feel like I'm 7 again and it's Christmas morning. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Jase ![]() |

check wear on the chain strip nearest to the front sprocket, TT6/S4s were well known to have not very good rubber and it would eat the swingarm.
Otherwise a good bike, i had the TT600 version of that, very peeky engine with not lots of midrange. Sounds way better with a race can on it. Brakes are very very good. Just a note do not start the bike with the throttle turned as the ECU gets confused and somtimes uses the open position as what it thinks should be closed.

Cheers, I'd noted the chain situation, do you know if a bigger front sprocket makes any difference? I'll take heed of your pointer about starting the bike too, wouldn't want the bike revving it's nuts off when I get up early morning for work commute
![]() As for race can, I've got my eye on a Beowulf can as they sound nice, well priced, and lifetime guarantee. At current, the can on it isn't "standard" though, it's been cut shorter and has been de-baffled and put back together (by my brother, who's also got a Speed4) so sounds pretty fruity ![]() |

Very nice machine, a mate of mine in Cleckheaton has one in the same colour, and the similarity to my naked yellow curvy is quite striking when parked together........
