Question How much do you read....

books/articles/magazines about your job?

At the moment I'm reading 3 different books! 1 on IT Risk Mgt, 1 on Neurolinguistic Programming and 1 on how to be successful.

I enjoy reading books in general and these are topics of interest as I am interested in my job.

But is it just me or do many people do the same?

I have to read loads of scientific papers, and text books occasionally in my job Some of them are a perfect cure for insomnia that's for sure!

When I was working as a Climbing Instructor full time, I used to read climbing mags, Biographies and stories about expeditions. I also used tell stories to clients. These days I only teach when I feel like it, but I still read Climbing stories. Now I work in the cycle industry and there is no way I am reading Mountain bike mags! Would rather stick pins in my eyes...

Love reading though, the eternal student.
